Franchise owner Nayeem Aziz, who has previously owned five hotels, said CCDC helped secure $4.68 million in financing, working with Community South Bank in Tennessee. His three-story, 65-room hotel is directly across from the National Museum of the United States Air Force and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton and within minutes to Wright State University and the University of Dayton.

The hotel, which opened in 2007, features conference rooms, banquet rooms and classrooms as well as a full breakfast and high-speed Internet access. In addition to hosting various conferences, it often welcomes tour groups and war veterans in town to visit the Air Force base and museum.

“I will absolutely work with CCDC again if I open another hotel,” Nayeem said. “Once the 504 loan was approved, then the construction loan was approved and the project took off. They are very organized and have their ducks in a row.”

Nayeem said he was impressed with CCDC representatives’ knowledge of the area, such as the fact that the museum receives over two million visitors each year.  He books 85% of his business through the hotel’s web site, www.comfortsuitesdayton.com, and offers discounts to regular customers.
