Ed Fabian, owner of Grace Woods assisted living facility, worked with CCDC and First Place Bank in 2007 to secure $1 million in financing to purchase an existing 15,000-square-foot building. This 34-apartment-unit facility in Niles, OH is used as a second location for his growing business, which he describes as “residential rental with health-care services.”

Inspired by his grandparents, who taught him he can set goals and achieve them, Ed opened Grace Woods’ primary facility in Niles, OH in 2004. He has worked in the nursing home administration business for 25 years.

“My goal is to provide the best services I can to the senior-citizen community and be a resource to their family members,” Ed said.

Grace Woods employs 23 staff members and offers a licensed nursing staff, medication management, personal housekeeping and laundry, home-cooked meals, beauty and barber services, transportation, therapeutic activity rooms and an active social calendar.
